Boston Freedom Rally – September 17, 2011

Thanks to MASSCANN NORML for hosting the 22nd annual Boston Freedom Rally that took place on the historic Boston Common at High Noon yesterday, Saturday September 17,2011.

This was another great event for the people who proudly support the repeal of marijuana prohibition movement. There was an estimated 30K-40k people hanging around the common yesterday spreading positive vibes and listening to a lot of good local music.

Saturday was another successful event for the Wealthy Knowledge brand too. Our grassroots movement was popped off 3 years ago at this event and has become an annual tradition for our street team since. It was such a great feeling to walk around yesterday and see so many people wearing our t shirts and having such a good time! It’s moments like these that keep us going forward.

 

 

 

We had the opportunity to catch up with a lot of old friends and made some new one’s as well. I want to thank and show love to them all in no particular order and if I forget to mention you I’m sorry, it was a long fun day :)

The Present

In today’s world it seems to me that people have lost track of time…

When I say this I don’t think they’re confused by where the big hand and the small hand lay. I think the problem is much bigger than that. I am talking about the fact that people are to busy focusing on the past and/or the future to fully experience the “Present.”

To me and many other like minded individuals it is not some crazy coincidence that they call it the present. It is in fact a gift, the best gift, the gift of life. This gift needs to be embraced and savored everyday during every moment. This is NOT the gift that keeps on giving for in this physical state all our days are numbered. With this in mind please embrace every moment of everyday like it is your last, because the truth is we don’t know if it is.

Let’s throw out the notion to learn one new thing everyday and replace it with the initiative to treat everyday as a new learning experience and thoroughly appreciate every moment.

Forget the past, its a wrap, finished, done, finito and it cannot be changed. Unless you have a crystal ball it is impossible to predict the future.

All you can do is be the best you can in every moment of everyday and I promise that if you handle your business in every moment of every day, you will find yourself in the exact position that you need to be.

Take this advice and go on in confidence being the best YOU that you can ever imagine.
